Using neon as both material and medium, his practice explores the tension between sign and object, technology and sensory experience. Found elements from urban signage and industrial systems play a central role in his work. At the core is the neon tube in its dual role: a glass body and, at the same time, an immaterial, almost phantom-like light form.
The Cluster Series brings together fragments of neon, cables and transformers in open, sculptural constellations. Removed from their original function, these elements are recomposed into luminous structures that oscillate between drawing, sculpture and light installation. The clusters are not fixed images but momentary configurations - fluid, fragile and continuously readable in new ways.
iLiquide (2008/2024) extends this approach into a clearly aquatic register. Blue and white neon lines evoke waves, currents and suspended water formations, suggesting a state of liquidity held briefly in space.
