Jacqueline Hen's "R Series" unfolds a visual poetic, captivating through the interplay of light, colour, and tactile structure. In these works, Hen employs holographic film as a medium, whose iridescent hues – shifting between shades of pink, blue, orange, and yellow – transform subtly with changes in viewing angle and lighting. Across this shimmering surface, Hen has meticulously applied drops of epoxy resin, evoking the appearance of rain on a windowpane and creating an illusion of permanently flowing water.

The pieces allude to the fluid beauty of water and the ephemerality of everyday natural observations, where rain, sunlight, and the radiant spectrum of a rainbow converge. Hen’s resin droplets appear as frozen moments of a rain shower, intensified by the luminescent film that interacts delicately with the drops. In this way, Hen pays homage to the transience and perpetual flux of nature, where the interplay of water and light continuously produces new forms and moods. In viewing, the works exude a quiet, meditative quality, inviting the observer to perceive these every day yet transcendent phenomena with a renewed sense of depth.
