Jacqueline Hen‘s “R” works refer to the fluid beauty of water and the ephemerality of everyday observations of nature, in which rain, sunlight and the shimmering spectrum of a rainbow converge. The drops of epoxy resin look like snapshots of flowing water, captured and enhanced by the radiant foil. In this way, she pays homage to the fleeting and incessant transience of nature, which constantly creates new forms and moods through the interplay of water and light. When viewed, the works develop a quiet, meditative quality that invites the viewer to perceive everyday yet transcendent phenomena with renewed depth.
