Leonie Harder’s photographic series OUTSIGHT explores the act of looking through and at glass, not by showing the material itself, but by drawing attention to its absence. These works engage with thresholds—both visible and imagined—between interior and exterior, past and present, perception and memory.

Rather than depicting windows or panes directly, OUTSIGHT captures fleeting reflections, ambient light, curtains, and architectural traces. Glass appears as a conceptual boundary, an invisible filter through which spatial and temporal experiences are shaped. The viewer is invited to shift their own perspective: to consider what lies within the frame, what remains unseen, and how personal memory and attention alter the perception of an image.

Each photograph becomes a layered reflection on visibility, time, and subjective observation. Through subtle compositions and minimal interventions, Harder creates spaces that are at once intimate and open-ended—mental landscapes where imagination meets the residue of real places.

Printed on fine art matte paper, mounted on aluminium dibond, and framed with shadow-gap wooden frames, the OUTSIGHT works combine technical clarity with poetic restraint.
